Black, No Sugar - First Semester of Uni

Good morning my loves! I hope we are all well! I cant believe actually sitting down and writing this post has came around so fast! Since starting uni this has been in my drafts as I wanted this to be something to look back on. You know, one of those like 'memory' posts that really don't interest anyone other than me (or really nosey people like meeee).

Freshers week:
Freshers was absolutely crazy, I am not entirely sure how I survived it if I'm honest. I can to uni not really one for drinking and not really knowing how to handle drink so freshers week was like being thrown in the deep end. I can't wait until next year to do it all over again only this time I need to invest in a a bumbag and more idea on what not to mix and what to mix.

There isn't really a lot I can say about lectures, they okay I guess but I'm now at that point in the semester where I don't think anyone knows what is going on, I can't wait to get home and have a nice long few weeks at home and not have to think about my lectures. I sort of enjoy them but next semester is when things start to really pic up and get busy as I will have an extra lecture added and a lot more assignments. In the very beginning I felt like I was doing a lot of overtime to even have the slightest bit of an idea as to what was going on and what everything meant but I can now officially say that I have a small idea now and understand the majority of what everything means. I successfully handed my first assignment in at the back end of the week and I'm praying for a good grade (wish me luck).

I feel like this is a pretty weird one as in first year you are ultimately put together in a flat full of strangers and ultimately its pot luck if you all get along or not. We've argues, fallen out, spoken again, went days without seeing each other and all made our own friends. I'm lucky enough that the friends I have made live in the same accommodation as me so it really isn't the end of the world that I don't really speak to all my flatmates.

If anyone else is in uni let me know in the comments how your semester has been! I apologies in advance for my uploads being all over up until New Year as I am trying not to focus too much of my time on my blog and spending it with my family over Christmas as I will be back in Sunderland before I know it.
