Afternoon Tea - Early Morning Routine (Uni Days)

Good morning everyone!! I hope you are all well and have had a good start to the week. This week I'm going to be writing about Uni, I feel like I haven't really written about uni since starting in September other than the odd update post here and there. I'm now basically at the end of semester two already!! I'VE NEARLY SURVIVED MY FIRST YEAR AT UNI!!
This semester (which is actually over), my time table changed from the luxury of sleep in's every day and my earliest start being 11am to a dreaded 9am lecture on a Friday morning! How unfair is that!! In this weeks post I am going to be sharing my early morning routine and my tips and tricks for making them a little easier.

5:00am
My first alarm goes off, yes that's a crazy early time but I REALLY REALLY hate mornings. This alarm is obviously turned straight off. Well its turned off when I actually wake up which is usually when my alarm has been going off for at least 20 minuets.

6:00am
Another alarm will go off and once again I will turn it off, who really want to get out of bed this early!?

6:30am
You've guessed it, another alarm. However, this time I will snooze because I really should be getting out of bed in the next half an hour. But lets be real here... I'm not getting out of bed until the latest possible time.

7:10am - 7:20am
I will finally roll out of bed and into a pair of leggings and hoodie.

7:30am - 7:40am
scran a bit of food and drink a coffe

8am
I'm in the bus on my way to uni because it is absolutely impossible to get on the 8:15 bus. I end up being around 35 minuets early for uni but Starbucks is there to lend a helping hand.

Tips and Tricks!!

Some tips and tricks for making these early morning just a bit more bearable...

  1. Shower the night before (an extra 10/15 minuets in bed)
  2. Pack your bag the night before (it saves you rushing around)
  3. Lay out your clothes the night before (I find this helps me to have an easier morning)
